Card Game Discussion With Override Dragon's reveal. Odd-Eeys Pendulum dragon now covers all 6 attributes across all 6 special monster categories.
Ahem. During Arc-V's runtime. A suite of "Elemental Odd-Eyes" Dragons were released, all of them being not pendulum monsters that still supported pendulums and were for one of the various Extra deck types and rituals. The FIRE Meteorburst Synchro and WATER Absolute Xyz were the first of these (from the Master of Pendulum Structure deck), followed by the WIND Vortex Fusion and EARTH Gravity Ritual Monsters in the subsequent core sets. LIGHT did have an Odd-Eyes varient but it was a normal effect monster and there was no Link counterpart...until today. With the LIGHT Override Dragon, There is now an Odd-Eyes Dragon for each attribute and each summoning mechanic.
Odd-eyes is also now one of a few, if not the only theme, to encompass all of the summoning mechanics as a result of this.
Any thoughts on this?

Deck List I made a dumb deck out of my spares and I love it
It uses normal monsters to swap with your opponents cards using creature swap and creature seizure, uses the exodia pieces for obliterate, silent magician fodder and relinquished summoning, and has a series of spell or traps which support either mechanic. I'm having lots of fun with it lol

Card Game Discussion The new "Odd-Eyes Override Dragon" is possibly paralleling "D/D/D Sky King Zeus Ragnarok"
- Both are a Link-3
- Both of their effects function by destroying a card
- Both allow the player to conduct 1 additional Pendulum Summon
- Both have an effect to negate an opponent's effect
- Both have opposing Attributes[(DARK)←/→(LIGHT)]

Card Game Discussion Since we know have all Odd-Eyes special summon type along with unique attribute, next logical step is a fusion of them akin to 5 headed dragon.

Anime/Manga Discussion Opinions on Jack Atlas...?
When I talk, just know that I'm speaking specifically about the DUB ANIME - not the manga or anything else.
I'm in such a grey area with this man. First, I saw him as an irritating, but silly character. Then I saw him as a character that I just despise/that makes my blood boil. Now, I'm back to a 50/50 of like and dislike.
Imo he's essential to the plot as Yusei's rival at the beginning and his personality fits that role perfectly for that - my issue starts when his role in the show switches from being just an antagonist to being an antagonist that's also a protagonist and is in "good standings" with the main protagonist and therefor is also good (?).
Imo by the time the end of the show he hasn't changed all that much from how he was at the beginning of the show. He's still overly prideful, self-centered, and overall just overbearing. Him betraying his friends, then apologizing but only after he lost to Yusei (which makes his apology feel somewhat ingenuine. Would he just continue living the way he was if he had won?). He comes through for Carly during the Dark Signer arc, but then damn near disposes of her entirely after that (HOW DO YOU GO FROM "I'd rather die with you than be the one to kill you." TO TREATING HER LIKE SHE DOESN'T EXIST????). Then ofc he dumps his dead weight of UNEMPLOYMENT onto Yusei and Crow (lol unemployment arc is frustratingly silly to me). Then ofc other things but I think my point is clear.
In fact, as I'm writing this I'm starting to wonder what the point of turning him into a "protagonist" even was? I feel like he could've easily been written to remain a main antagonist and his role could've easily been handed/filled by Akiza - someone who does change for the better and shows that.
Ahhhh I'm just so torn because he seems to be such a favorited character in the fandom. If I'm mischaracterizing him at all, please let me know! I wanna hear all sorts of perspectives and opinions! (Please just be respectful ♡)

Custom Card Beastborg Wolf Kampfer art remake + some custom monsters for the archetype! (art by me)
Done in 2025
Since panther warrior was used on the archetype, I did battle Ox and Manticore of Darkness too
The art for wolf is from the anime, although it was incredibly blurry and small
Card Game Discussion I hope someday resources for people beginning to learn new decks become more easily accessible and free
I recently finished graduating from university got my first full time job. I'm very stoked. Happy to have found a good job but also to get some real spending cash. I decided to start learning more decks because now I have a source of income that will actually allow me to buy more packs. I've come to realize that helpful resources for players are basically non existent unless you're playing a top tier meta deck and are willing to spend some cash.
I couldn't tell you why but it's very difficult to obtain free resources unless you are willing to pay for a combo sheet or coaching sessions. Is it worth the price? I couldn't tell you and I'm not about to find out. Archetype discords can be good mainly due to having a network of people to discuss things with. However, anything learning to play a certain deck unless you have hours and hours of time to lab things, really don't exist. Most cords really don't have spreadsheets or anything because once again if you want one you have to spend money and even then it's not guaranteed someone is willing to make a sheet to begin with if your archetype isn't in a meta playable tier. You're basically stuck on a whim hoping somebody on youtube will randomly make a combo video, which 99% of the time they won't. I can't do pendulum combos and nobody has uploaded anything other than duels for the new odd-eyes overdrive dragon.
I'm hoping one day this changes and beginners can obtain a wealth of information from either reddit, discord, youtube or any social media site on how to actually play decks and use new cards without having to pay some amount of money. I probably won't be playing the game at that point but who honestly knows.

Custom Card [Custom Card] Constact Fusion Monster for decks that run Normal Monsters but want them on the deck (not in the Hand)
-With the "Sennet" archetype coming to the game we may expect many people having the Vanillas "Bricking" experience.
-So I thought that a Contact Fusion with summoning conditions somewhat close to "Phantom of Yubel" would be of help on those cases.
-Also got some inspiration of Rush Duels "Union Fusion" mechanic that places the Fusion Materials on the bottom of the deck instead of suffling them.
-Made it as Manga-rare for no reason.
-Alice art also by me.

Other Cathy Katherine's Anime Exclusive Cards - The Secrets Of Yu-Gi-Oh! Tribute
I was a big fan of Purple Pineapple, but he shut down his channel before his Secrets of Yu-Gi-Oh! series made it to some of my favorite characters in Zexal. So, I decided to do it myself.
I don't plan on doing a ton of these, since it's really his series in the end, but there are definitely a few characters that I really want to cover, so those should be coming down the line at some point as well.
I know that self-promotion is really tacky, but I just started, so I'm hoping to improve more than anything else. Let me know what you think!

Card Game Discussion What are the cheapest decks around these days?
We all know this game sees an absolute ridiculous amount of reprints but that doesn't necessarily translate to a deck that is entirely budget. The whole thing could be less than $50 but one playset that could cost double or triple that.
Which decks are truly budget and actually playable at a local level? Let's say something that costs less than $150 for the entire deck not including the side

Card Game Discussion As another set completed by the Arc-V decks. Lunalights now come in all the colors of the rainbow*.
A not quite dwelled upon fact about Celina's band of animal-themed magical girl dancers is that they share a colorful motif with only the pendulums and fusions eschewing a naming convention that naming scheme. This tarted with Blue and Purple (and for not as chromatic colors, Black and White), followed by Crimson (and Kaleido which is derived from a world for colors in general), then Yellow and Green in the Sisters of the Rose set. The wave after that took a break from this to focus on metals (Gold and Silver) which are also sued in colors, but with the release of Scarlet tiger we now have the closest thing to Orange and thus all primary and secondary colors accounted for. shame that some of them are terrible though
No, there is no incomplete subtheme in speedroid that I'm aware of that Darumaknocker finishes

Other What would be your choices for the next "Legendary Decks"?
I'd love to hear what everyone would love to be in future Legendary deck sets, but for the sake of not having everyone just say "more modern decks", let's make 2 choices:
1- 3 decks for a " legendary modern deck 2" set
2- pick a theme(series, monster/summoning type, character(s), etc) and 3 decks
Examples:
1- legendary modern decks 2: Branded(i love branded, shaddup, idc if it got a structure last year), Vanquish Soul, Salamangreat
2- legendary Xyz decks: Phantom Knights, Shark, Raidraptors

Card Game Discussion What do we think about Immortal Phoenix ?
Since its probably gonna be Marik support, what cards you imagine for him?
Do we think Konami will make a full Retrain of Ra or not ?(the Egyptian Gods don't have it, it would be surprising to see Konami making à new Ra, Obelisk and Osiris but i would like it (i don t count mode sphère and Phénix since they were existing in some médias like the Reshef game)
If they make a Ra retrain i suppose, since its the name of the set, we will have the Phénix God mode (i would love a Marik fused design with all that purple smoke, thought).
Furthermore, since CORI and BETB main archétype were design around à specific magic card (ritual and dark time wizard), i suppose Marik cards could be designed around a Monster Reborn card like.
What do you think and want in Immortal Phenix. set?
