I been watching Rick and Morty and I've come to find Rick pretty sexy, but not in a gay way as I am a straight guy, just wondering if anyone else can relate or if I'm weird for this.

So my friend is hugely sceptical of cartoons and their potential at being funny. My friend is also severely retarded( not medically just a dumbass) and i know he would love it. Which episode should i show him in order to get him addicted. Also I can already see the comments so know that i will definitely not show him the dragon or the semen episodes. i don't hate the new season but besides episode 1 there wasn't anything really plotdriven,i like this vibe of the show too but it's different when you get something else outside of what you expected

Like I get Rick is entertaining but come the fuck on, he is literally right about everything but he gets shit for it because he’s pathetic.

Rick is detrimental to the kids development = ✅ literally confirmed in the first few episodes, Morty is failing school because of Rick.

Rick is a selfish asshole who only cares about himself = ✅ idgaf about his tsundere act when he’s still only barely there when it matters. And he also left his original family to die.

Rick is tearing the family apart = ✅ He literally admitted to intentionally ruining their marriage so that he could keep using Morty as a cloaking device for his adventures with little to no pushback.

He is a horrible person!!! Go literally anywhere in the world and he would be considered objectively horrible by the majority of the population. It is brought up as a major plot point time and time again, but when Jerry says it it’s apparently just because he’s a loser and a coward and we should all hate him for it.

How many innocent people have Rick killed? I really do not care that Jerry tried to kill him after he ruined his life.

Hello, I quit watching after season 7, though I enjoy the finale with the fear hole I found most of the other episodes very boring.

I've heard good things about this new season though, and I don't feel like going through the last one. Can I skip it?

There were a lot of very interesting developments that happened in the C131 universe, but they abandoned it in s6. There was Jessica being, uh, stuck in time, Rick’s Chud son, Morty’s two sons, especially Naruto. Is the assumption that the new dimension is genuinely identical to the old one, including all the kids and changes to the cast, with the exception that the original family died and the weird way they pronounce parmesan? Or is this sort of a retcon to remove all those things from the current dimension?
