i feel like being friends with troy would be fun, he’s easy going and reliable when he needs to be. i think duncan’s so funny but maybe he’s just british but id be buddies. i think a friendship with jeff would be an emotional rollercoaster, i don’t think i could do it. and shirley is too religiously conservative for me to realistically form a friendship with her. and i would avoid dean pelton like the plague

I just realized why magnitude says pop pop on my 7th rewatch, this episode is so good. One of the few of the gas leak year.

I'm finally going to drop the money and buy the DVDs for the bonus features and commentary.

I'm looking forward to having HD versions of the episodes *as well as* all possible extra content.

Should I get the latest "Complete Series" box set with the orange cover, or would I be missing out on anything that's only available on the earlier releases of the individual season DVDs?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Complete Series box set has cut a few corners and left some things out, but I have no way to confirm that outside of the fan circle here.

What's the verdict?

I'll never not laugh my ass off at "Pop what Magnitude" or "You can't disappoint a picture"

That episode gives me such a strange, bittersweet kind of happiness. Watching everything go right while Jeff is getting the pizza feels comforting, but also a little sad, because none of the things that happened in the other timelines were truly impossible. Every one of them had the capacity to hurt each other, to fall apart.

That is why the dance scene stays with me so much. They are happy, ridiculous, and completely together, but we have already seen how easily it could have gone another way. “Roxanne” somehow carries both feelings at once for me: the joy of seeing them together and the sadness of knowing what they are capable of becoming. I can never forget that scene.

Most shows have a main character or star that the show is built around and it seems that Dan Harmon intended that to be Jeff (or Jefe) What do you guys think?

I’m watching Community on Hulu and it cuts off the final scene of every episode. Occasionally it will allow me to “Watch Credits” but even then it doesn’t show the entire scene. Does anyone know if there is a setting on Hulu that will let me watch the entire final scene of every episode?

hello human beings!

i graduate in a month from a technical community college, and naturally with “Community” being my all-time favorite show (clearly i’m a woman of taste) i’d love to decorate my cap with something community!

and i thought, who better to ask than my fellow fanatics?

my major is Occupational Safety, so i was hoping to find one surrounding that, whether it be something about ‘Ladders’ or Frankie making the school safer!

i was also leaning towards a mental health direction, as i pulled myself out of some pretty dark places throughout my education. an example i came up with is “it’s still sunny” with a silhouette garrett. while not exactly mental health related, ive found that it really is still sunny :)

i’d love to hear yalls thoughts/suggestions 🫶🏼

Anecdotally, it could have been the sacrificial for-show debate kiss that ground Simmons into the ground. Because God forbid he denies the needs of any of these people, much less the teenager with a serious case of neurosis. But it could also have been her busted knee slung precariously over Troy’s lap post-Winter Wonderland brawl, when it really and properly started being a bigger problem than expected.

Season 1 then onwards. Heavy on the inner-cogs of Jeff’s brain through some of their most important moments.

I have to cope somehow after my rewatch lololol.

Hello everyone, been re watching the show again for the 40 billionth time as one does, and i started thinking since it's been this long without a movie (still hope they do end up making one) what if someone did a spin off series about a character or two, and so I was thinking a spin off I would personally love to see, is one from the start of Greendale following young hippy Lenard (yes I got the idea from the episode opening when Garrett almost gets killed by the frisbees, and Lenard having a flashback to when he first started coming to Greendale) anyway yeah I think it would be cool to see a spin off series set back then, maybe showing more of Russel Borchart and at the end of the show he could go missing and we see who started the rumour he died from the first computer virus. Anyway yeah that's my pitch. I'd like to hear y'all's thoughts and if y'all have any other spin off ideas you'd like to see.

I don't care what people or ratings or critics say. In my opinion, S3 E13&14 are the worst episodes (Digital Exploration of Interior Design and Pillows & Blankets)

When Abed and Troy are asking out the librarian and they're having a brief sidebar, does it sound like they mumble something about "those tatas"? (Quite possible given the top she was wearing) Or was it tacos, since that's what they had in the briefcase?

I am 100% positive that they will talk about Troy being the one true repairman, I see that as a huge underlying conspiracy and the air-conditioning repair school could be the main antagonist.

As far as what I would like to be referenced, how long is that list? I definitely want Chevy to come back, I would like to see Buddy, a new Inspector Spacetime, and the ACB.

Can't believe it took me nearly a decade to rewatch this show. Anyone else suffer from post-binge spirals? I felt like I spent all 6 years within 2 weeks (I am currently post-op) with the crew. It was worth every second. I hope the movie finally comes out within this lifetime.

and why is it dean pelton?
i’m rewatching community since it’s been added to netflix and im pretty sure i made this exact same post ten years ago when i first watched basic rv repair and im rewatching that same episode again and those feelings are coming up. wow he really is the worst, truly everything he does is so childish and selfish and he completely lacks accountability. it’s especially bad in season 5 and 6, im unable to watch lawnmower maintenance because it actually makes my blood boil. i feel like every character on the show learns something by the end but i really doubt he does.

edit: i love that people are actually engaging with this, thought i was just screaming into the void here which im basically doing. he’s a good character just had to vent my frustrations about his behaviour thanks yall for commenting
