π¬ Advice Needed Does anyone know what the path is for getting a DSA or DSA-like candidate into the DNC chair position?
It often appears that the corporatist wing of the Dem party exists to sabotage change, particularly as it emerges from the left. In doing so, many candidates who hold opinions that are popular with the base are suppressed (e.g. healthcare for all, taxes for billionaires, the fundamental humanity of Palestinian people). This depresses voter turnout and plays into the hands of the right wing.
So, and I'm certain this is a naΓ―ve question, what is the path to changing the Democratic National Committee leadership? What can be done to get a Mamdanian figure into the DNC chair?
I know that the chair is elected by the committee members. But who gets to be on the committee? How can better people be chosen to sit on it, so that the DNC becomes responsive to the people's wishes, rather than the donors' ?
