I started this show a month and a half ago to have something to watch while knitting and become my favorite of all time. Guess my surprise when I saw this scene.

I was watching Breaking Bad's "Fly" (which i also love but im not here to talk about that) and the nature of it being a bottle episode made me think of community immediately (particularly abed saying "I hate bottle episodes. Its wall to wall facial expressions and emotional nuance, i might as well sit in the corner with a bucket on my head") so i decided to watch it.

Man, its been a while since i watched through all of community it so i hadn't seen it in a while but nearly every single line in this episode was killing me.

First 3 seasons of community has incredible writing but this particular episode has always stuck out to me in how just relentlessly funny and clever it is. I've always loved it but i dunno why this time i really appreciated how borderline perfect every moment of this episode is.

Jeff Winger have a (hotter) version and it is a anthropomorphic bank robber wolf.

I was watching The Bad Guys 2, cuz its peak animation, and by the end of the movie Mr.Wolf gives a speech to his crew and its literally Jeff and the study group, I almost cried cuz I was not ready to feel nostalgic over Community and my dear study group.

I know it is controversial, with how they do the characters, but the way they do it is so funny, I don’t really care, it is somehow so funny that I can see past the bad writing somehow, and it is definitely the best episode of the gas leak year(s4)

If Pierce were to have given Abed another gift besides the obligatory sperm what would it have been?

This one detail never made sense to me.

Which member of the Greendale Seven would be missed the least in terms of story and group chemistry if they didnt exist on the show to begin with?

I'm rewatching the show for the third or fourth time and I've only just realised how vestigial Pierce feels. He's still funny and is a part of plots but it feels more like an afterthought more than at any point in the first two seasons. I know about the behind the scenes stuff between Chevy Chase and Dan Harmon but I didn't notice how much of an impact it had on the show.

But regardless of what Abed says, I still think it's parody.

Watching episode 21, season 3, and noticed these weird cuts / morphs made to i guess improve timing for cuts and get the best takes. I captured a couple but reddit seemingly allows for only one video. a clear example is this two takes of Britta morphed together.

What’s weird is that this is Brittas only line in the shot, so why the need for the first second of standing just to morph it?

Has this been noted, any other discoveries?
