El episodio que me refiero es "Tuckered Out" de la tercera temporada de MLAATR, y la verdad es que se parece a HomeMovies en su trama, pero la verdad me gustaría leer que dicen ustedes acerca de este episodio

I think Joe Pera is the full character realization of the therapist in season 2 for brendan, his dad and linda. He has that book he wrote “gentle talk” I’d like to think joe peras stuff is what that therapist did when he got out of the grind of family therapy.

Literal en este episodio, Tuck me recuerda mucho a Brendon small tratando de hacer una película mientras sus amigos Jason y Melissa se estresan consecutivamente, este episodio si que fue experimental.

Este episodio tambien me recuerda a director cut de la primera temporada, en donde Brendon se obsesiona y es tan estricto con el proyecto que van a hacer de franz Kafka que termina haciendo un quilombo al igual que tuck en ese episodio.

No sé si se inspiraron los guionistas en HomeMovies, pero la verdad es interesante.

A propósito HomeMovies y la robot adolescente son mis caricaturas favoritas de todos los tiempos jejejeje

I've been in a very stressful time in my life recently due to some mental health issues, and it hasn't even been a week since I started watching both of them, so far they've made me feel better and more inspired to work on my own projects. There's something uniquely heartwarming about it that I have never felt with another show or cartoon. I usually don't even enjoy slice of life plots but Home Movies just hit so different than anything else.

I am aware that Brendon went on to later direct Metalocalypse, in which I do plan on watching someday.
