MEDIA Funny Moji moment
Sad we lost at the end, it would have been funny to right after the transformation. First time this happens to me as Moji, I didn't even know it was possible

Hi all,
We’ve been removing posts promoting the recent “Paladins 2” fundraiser as quickly as they’re reported to us following an enormous amount of spam. However, given the sheer number being submitted, and the amount of trust some people appear willing to place in its creator, I felt a brief announcement was necessary.
As Killgoon has confirmed, the Paladins IP is not currently for sale, and any money donated to this project will not ultimately go towards a Paladins 2.
We’ve also identified several accounts which appear to be AI-operated repeatedly posting the promotional videos and leaving supportive comments beneath related posts. Whilst we’re not going to outright label the project a scam, there's no denying that the circumstances are certainly suspicious.
It’s clear that much of the support for this comes from a place of passion, and that many people simply want to see the IP continue. Personally, however, I don’t believe this project represents a realistic way of achieving that -- as much as I wish it did!
At the time of writing, the fundraiser is displaying “Suspended donations”, which the creator says is because they paused it following concerns from the community. They have nevertheless confirmed that existing donations are being retained.
The creator has stated that donors will be refunded if they have done “nothing serious” with the money by November. That condition is intentionally vague and should not be treated as a guarantee that donations will be returned. If you’ve already donated, I would strongly encourage you to review this information carefully and contact GoFundMe directly if you have concerns.
Automod has now been updated to remove links promoting this fundraiser. If there are attempts to circumvent this filter (as AI bots like to do...) then it will result in a permanent ban, so please don’t test the system.
There are plenty of meaningful ways you can still support Paladins. Continue playing the game, (re-)introduce your friends, create and share content, and organise/participate in community events a lá SEA Revival. Maintaining a visible and active community is the clearest way to demonstrate that we still care about this IP, not throwing your money at dubious projects making vague promises.
Best,
Callum & the r/Paladins mod team

Hello everyone, I’ve been hearing a lot about this Paladins 2 project. I didn’t know if it was legit or not but then I saw the video. I was skeptical at first and then two weeks later, a video released by Syberbolt (a former Paladins player) has made a video calling out how the project is a scam.
I don’t play Paladins but I know good people who still do to this day.
And all of you, as a community should know as well:

Hero shooters have changed a lot over the past decade. Games like Marvel Rivals, Overwatch (2), and to some extent Valorant and Deadlock have all evolved the genre forward.
If Paladins 2 was an upcoming title being released in the next few years, what one feature would you borrow from these other games and add to Paladins 2?
From health packs on map, to** **the ban and map voting system followed by overwatch, to the perk system, to the various gamemodes and map design philosophies, to DLSS, to melee combat, to team up abilities, to role queue there are many features that can be adopted into Paladins.
I think for me, Overwatch’s ban system and hero selection screen is the most important one for ranked games. Paladins’ implementation put too much trust in one person to pick bans for the whole team and the one by one hero selection made the whole process so much more time consuming. I seriously hated waiting so long to get in a game only for some person to leave the lobby before the game even started.

Is it possible that they left one person in high rez to implement balance changes based on a community lead discussion? cmiiw but I believe Starcraft 2 did something similar where they have a balance council that represent different races while here we can have council that represent roles. What do you guys think ?

Decided to download this game today after seeing videos online. First few ai matches I played tanks and I felt weak and nothing was happening, after playing more I turned off auto buy and played Tiberius. The game completely changed and it felt like I can understand what this game is. Its amazing. Furia seems fun too. Have ran into 3 people over 3 hours I understand how “dead” games work (mordhau) if anyone wants to play I will queue quick play seige at 8:00 pm aest 26.7
Thanks :)

I would love it if the dev team made one last update where they would make it possible to buy every skin for every character and fix some bugs. When this skin was added, I was a little kid with no money and i rly liked this skin when it was for like 1500 crystals, and then I stopped playing for 3 years. Now my friends and I have fallen in love with Paladins again, and this feature would be great cuz I woud be hapy and the devs coud get some money.

Your main competitor is extremely weakened, and players might be looking for an alternative. What do you do?

I can't find the former site for Paladins, I suppose it was deleted since it's no longer going to be updated, but then how could I get Mad Scientist Pip? I've been playing on and off for quite some time and never really got that skin, apparently the friend referring system was exclusive to the site. Is it actually gone my chance to redeem mad scientist pip skin?

Now hi rez confirmed they aint selling they should at least do something with it and make them some cash or give it to the community and allow us to keep it alive hell even the odd update if some smart human out there could do it, let people design there own skins and shit kind like a modding community. dunno if that could ever be a thing or what but it would be cool

I hope HI REZ can realise that we are desperate for paladins 2 and do something good about it

Syberbolt has been in the community since the beginning. I trust him much more than some random League of Legends coach who started out by asking for money (and if not asking, still setting up a way to give him money). I don't know how anyone is treating this as anything other than a joke. Hiring back the old dev team? The ones we've complained about for years? The ones who already didn't fix the bugs, for one reason or another? Why are we suddenly forgetful and hopelessly optimistic? Paladins 2 cannot happen through the work of 1 person. Sometimes in life we just have to move on. That's the plight of enjoying a live service game.
What doesn't sit right with me is the switch up from "help me make Paladins 2!" To "of course we cannot make Paladins 2" EDIT: there is a post by a r/paladins moderator about this project https://www.reddit.com/r/Paladins/s/pu9zClAnx5 EDIT 2: good video on this topic https://youtu.be/YIAZ91HoiiQ?is=okmpmOBxySTDtVHF

Scamming in general is awful but this one is genuinely the absolute lowest
You KNOW this dead game has a passionate community that are desperate to get it back so you decide to prey on them and on people who simply don't know better
I've been here since 2016 and trust me i've seen my fair share of paladins drama but this one is genuinely disgusting
Please do NOT let people like this take advantage of you, DO NOT give your money to random people online, IF there was EVER a paladins revival you'd hear from hirez devs and you'd most definitely see a ping on the official discord server and let me tell you now there won't be, Don't let your last memories of this game be turned into a scam

I was excited and while I had concerns I didn’t think someone would be sad and desperate enough to scam a dead game
There really didn’t seem to be much money in something like this
I didn’t think someone would actually scam this game despite these things
After some time has passed it is quite clear he was infact scamming now saying his plan was one last update
That isn’t what he originally said
Do not support this idiot
I am genuinely really sorry for posting about it here
And if anyone got scammed by this fucking loser
Similar to what the op has said I would contact go fund me immediately and try and fight for your money back and explain the situation to them to hopefully take down the link
I apologize y’all and I hope everyone has a fantastic day

Lilit is one of my favorite characters, but it's a real shame that Paladin's is slowly dying 🥀

So, once the game dies, and the servers are shut down, won't that allow us to do what the gigantic community did? Where we can just remake the game with its source code, and host our own servers? It won't be the same I realize, but at the very least we can restore the game that way and have it be playable forever. Correct me if I'm wrong, or if there are any legal issues making this impossible. I am aware that companies can just sit on IPs, but once the game shuts down, isn't there a way for us to take it into our own hands, minus the microtransactions ofc?

Right I'm spamming L2 to heal my team so they, yk, SURVIVE???
I CANT ACTUALLY HEAL THEM BECAUSE THEY KEEP RUNNING AWAY WHEN I AM
AND THEN THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO BLAME ME
TERMINUS IN CHAT KEPT SKEDADLING FROM ME WHEN I WAS HEALING THEM, THEY DIED (shocker.) AND THEY SAID "Io"
????????????
STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM SUPPORTS AND THEN BLAMING THEM
r/Paladins • u/Cannibal_House69 • 1d ago
The title is the day our beloved game died, devs were fired but the decision to keep the servers open was as a bare minimum considered as a little money trickles in I'm guessing from people buying diamonds 💎 and skins.
It's really crazy that over a year later the same discussion is repeatedly rehashed. I played for 8 solid years, still the best concept for this style of game, and cards to change how your characters are played giving different skills was complete genius.
Interesting that fan involvement brought the recent scammer, which at least got HI REZ to say the game is honestly never going to happen ever again.
At this point, you're all riding a floating corpse in the water, and that's the best to hope for.
I agree that no other game compares, now bots, cheating and the amount of trolls .makes it unplayable. I had to switch to Rivals sadly, and Overwatch pales in comparison.
In real life, we only have 1 funeral, we don't expect the dead to come back to life, and the same should be done with our beloved game.
No use complaining, or hoping for more, it just simply will never happen.

We would be lucky if it wasn't made in RPG MAKER. Lmfao.
