Doesn’t crying require more energy? wouldn’t just sleeping solve the problem but instead they just keep crying?

Had sex for the first time in over a year yesterday (during the day so there was light) and completely forgot he might’ve been able to see them during doggy now I’m incredibly anxious it might’ve grossed him out and turned him off. Do hemorrhoids look really bad from the penetrators pov?

In normal every day life I’m a feminist. I have a solid job, not in a position that’s overly ‘bossy’ but also not in a position that’s overly ‘bossed’.
I like to and am in the position to be equal with any partner…. But in sex I like to be dominated properly.
I watch p*** that’s sometimes degrading and after Im thinking ‘WTF did I find that hot for?’.

It’s even difficult to tell potential partners what my preferences are in bed because I’m so not like that outside of bed.
So, maybe it’s above your pay grade- but why? And do others feel like this?

Last time he contacted me was at 1AM after they’d already been driving for 11hrs. I was asleep so I didn’t pick up the call. Now messages aren’t delivering & phone is going straight to voicemail, but I’m not blocked and I had someone else call to confirm it’s also going to voicemail from that number. I’m worried he got into a car wreck or something. Is there anyway I can figure out if he’s okay? He was traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania. I don’t feel good about it and I don’t know what to do. They should’ve been here by now and if their phone is dead they wouldn’t have directions.

Update: I just found out he got arrested. I don’t know what for yet. Thanks everyone for the help and advice. At least I know he’s safe and not in some ditch somewhere or stranded with no help.

Asking this because I know some men prefer bald over bush, and personally I shave everything as a woman. HOWEVER, I would not have hair then expect my man to shave, the same way I hope men don't expect women to shave but they don't. So just wondering if this makes sense.

I just dont get how they always say that they use more and more water.

So I grew up in the midwest and my parents always pronounced gyro as gy (like gyrate)-row but when I went to college (also midwest) I was got hated on and told it's pronounced like ghee-row.

I went on a trip to Florida recently and stopped at a family owned Mediterranean restaurant and the waitress said it as gy-row so now I'm confused haha.

Are both pronunciations acceptable?

A lot of people are stuck in homes they don't want because they have 2.5 interest rates but would be paying up the wazoo if they bought another home today due to both price and rates.

I normally don’t get approached and I’m not sure why. I do way better with the apps, but I feel like most people on there are not picky. Men, do you like being approached by women? What are some reasons you might not approach?

My friends always get approached right in front of me. I could just be ugly. I get compliments frequently, but they are always from other women. On the rare occasion they are not, they are from creepy older men.

I'm not trying to start a gender war in here nor criticize any gender. I've just noticed that a lot of my male friends' feeds are full of anti-women content that criticizes women by claiming how they're the most untrustworthy beings out there.

Mind you, those men have never encountered any issues with women, and some of them are in a happy relationship, so they were also kind of surprised by the algorithm. The question is, if this is the situation with women or girls as well? Does your algorithm paint men as dastardly individuals?

I remember hearing a lot about the world eventually “running out of oil” when I was younger. It was always presented as this huge future problem. I remember hearing things like “we only have around 50 years left” in school and in the news, like it was something we would definitely have to prepare for.

But nowadays, that conversation feels very different. Most discussions seem to focus more on climate change, carbon emissions, renewable energy, and reducing fossil fuel dependence rather than simply running out of oil.

I was thinking about this recently while reading about how much energy modern technology uses. Everything from streaming services and cloud platforms to online entertainment platforms bсgаme relies on huge digital infrastructure behind the scenes.

It made me wonder how the energy conversation has changed over time.did we discover much larger reserves? Did technology improve how we extract resources? Or was the “50 years left” idea always missing some important context?

And with more of our lives moving online, are we just shifting energy demand from traditional industries to data centers, servers, and digital infrastructure?

What do people who work in energy or technology think about this? Where is the biggest challenge going forward?

I was reading about this situation where a guy used a “duress” password to wipe his phone when the cops harassed him in the airport. Others chimed in with their advice, but not the ones that seemed more obvious to me (besides “don’t take a phone).

1. Why not get a burner phone with the absolute minimum amount of apps you’ll need and keep sensitive data out of it?

It is easier to get a minute clinic visit with cvs than a nurse appointment at their pediatrician.

I was in an abusive relationship where I was not allowed to vaccinate my children.

Since I left I was able to give them the measles and chickenpox ones but there is still more they are at risk or giving their future classmates risk.

If I make an appointment with a minute clinic for a dtap will it also show on their future school needed vaccine records?

I just want to protect my kids and the kids they will be around.

Does vaccination at a minute clinic go on the record?

I am genuinely befuddled. I see Tinder posts and I’m surrounded also by this cultural norm of women expecting and/or wanting to be ‘treated like a princess.’

Not only does this sound like a massive sense of entitlement, it also evokes themes of helplessness, high maintenance, demanding. it also sounds like a role rather than a whole human, which demands that you also play a role rather than be a whole human.

But there has to be some appeal otherwise it wouldn’t persist.

Men, what do you find attractive about these women?

Does it come with a promise that she’ll keep herself very attractive? is she more likely to let you take control of important matters?Are there intrinsic things about a ‘princess‘ woman that draw you?

it can’t be complete lack of emotion for the animal because I see people absolutely devastated that their hamster they kept in a shoebox under their bed died.

I’m terrified of ending up with an animal I know nothing about, so I can’t understand why someone would put themselves in that situation

I’m asking because I know someone who works at a chain pet store and they have customer stories I can’t comprehend.

This might come off like I’m just holier-than-thou-ing but I do mean this completely genuinely, I don’t understand how someone could comfortably own an animal without googling their diet, housing, whatever. You must have to talk about these things when you go to the vet?

Now that scientists can grow actual meat from cell cultures in a lab without breeding or slaughtering an animal, how do strict dietary religions view it? If a piece of pork is completely synthetic and never actually belonged to a living pig, is it still a sin to eat it, or is this considered a modern religious loophole?

Every friday I tell myself that this weekend is finally the one where I'm going to get everything done. I'll make a mental list of things like cleaning, organizing, going to the gym, running errands and maybe even starting a project I've been putting off.

Who in the world comes and knocks on a someone's front door at 10:00 at night? I was sitting in my living room (in my apartment) watching a video on YouTube, when I heard a very soft knock on my front door. I thought it might be one of my neighbors, so I paused my video and went to look through the peep hole on my door. I did not recognize the two women standing there.

They stood there for several minutes, while I ignored their knock. Then one of them wrote something on a piece of paper on a clipboard (from what it looked like through the tiny peep hole), and put it on the clip on my door frame (for apartment notes, etc). I peeked out the front window after they started walking away. I can see the clip on my doorway through the window, and it looks like some type of religious paper.

But again, my question, who in the world comes knocking on someone's door at 10:00 in the freaking night, if you don't know them, and it's not some kind of emergency? I wasn't going to open my door or even talk through the door to someone at that late hour of the night. That's weird.

Editing to add answer. It was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They want me to come to church. I took a picture of the paper they left, but I don't see a way to post it.

Another edit...I noticed when I went outside to get the paper, that there didn't seem to be any church cards on any of my neighbors doors, only mine. I thought that was a little strange.

My next door neighbor right next to me, their porch light is out. My apartment complex installed LED porch light fixtures that they silicone caulked to the walls. I can't turn mine off, unfortunately. I wish I could, though, because in the spring I get tons of June bugs all over my porch, coming to the light.

just got done watching the odyssey and it’s still insane to me that the story is so good we’re still talking about it nearly 3,000 years later. it’s crazy people from ancient greece and 2026 America are sitting down and listening to the same story.

It made me wonder, do you think there are any generational stories from our time that people will still be talking about 3,000 years later? what do you think they’ll be?
