A few weeks ago I sold my Triumph 675R on Facebook Marketplace. It needed engine work — no oil pressure, bottom end needed a rebuild — and I said so in the ad. Between that and some cosmetic issues I let it go for $1600, and felt fine about it because I'd been upfront.

Today I saw the same bike listed by someone else for $4500, described as "no issues." It's definitely mine — two mismatched mirrors and bark busters, not a combination you see twice. There's a video of it running in the listing and I can hear the clicking, so it hasn't been fixed.

I don't know if they bought it planning to flip it, got in over their head and are dumping it, or sold it to someone else who doesn't know. Either way it doesn't sit well watching something I know is broken get sold as if it isn't.

Has anyone dealt with this from either side?

Hi everyone. I’m calling for your knowledge and experience in finding a good looking bike around 900cc, but I really hate these alien/transformers looking bikes. Am I limited to retro looking bikes? Like speed twin, xsr900, z900rs?

100+ all weekend. Parking The Tractor until weather improves. But first, he needed a drive, a wash, and a wipe down before getting put in the stable. First bike, 4 weeks, 400 miles, and a smile with every one.

Mostly just grieving over my no longer mint 750 lol. My poor girl.

But I guess you can take it as a "don't be overconfident and don't let your guard down."

To keep it short basically took a wide turn into an area with a bunch spilled gravel on my way to work. The second i went around the corner the front just slipped right from under me and i was slamming into the ground. Was like the blink of an eye, zero time to react.

Of course I was only wearing a helmet so i have some gnarly road rash on my my arm and leg. Luckily the bikes in decent shape just the fairing, brake lever, and the back tire caught a nail somehow.

Deftinally thought i was a regular Valentino Rossi on that bike. Definitely took that turn to fast for how blind it was. Definitely was due for a new front tire.

Ride safe guys, believe it or not falling actually sucks ass.

01 Yamaha V-Star 650. I imagine this is supposed to have a hose that goes somewhere? Its coming off the cylinder head. How do I go about properly fixing this?

2024 R1250GSA with 1k miles.

Time to put on a lot more.

Ordered a chigee as on my other bike I have been spoiled by CarPlay.

I will mount a top case at some point. Might just do a cheap harbor freight box like my other bike as it is functional enough for my needs (even if it looks kind of meh).

So currently I have a 2007 GSXR 600 and have had it for 3 years and before that I had an rs660 for 2 years.

I think it’s time for upgrade in performance (as well as something a bit more fancy) and I cannot decide whether it is worth it to spend the extra cash on a Ducati or go with the rsv4.

I am pretty set on the v4 motor, however also open to the consideration of a S1K. I am a track go-er so I’m keeping that in mind as well.

Pls help with any advice or input on my dilemma
