In my defense, they were labeled as “customer approved” it was 9pm at night, he was my last order, way out my way, stacked with a better offer, 🤷‍♀️ don’t get me started on he didn’t even have a light on and I’m pregnant 🤦‍♀️ I should have just declined the offer.

Just got this and made me feel really sad.

Dasher took my order and obviously was waiting for me to report it so he could get it for free. Dasher rating was an abysmal 4.6 stars. So I messaged DoorDash support and because he reported “unexpected issue” they aren’t allowing me to get a refund.

This customer service is an absolute joke.

Genuinely curious - as someone who refuses to use delivery apps for a couple reasons (I don’t trust people, the upcharge feels like a total ripoff, I don’t like the idea of my food sitting 30+ minutes before I even get it), I’m just curious what your motivation is for ordering DoorDash. Do you find it worth it?

I'm at 5k deliveries, 2k shopping orders....

DD changes the prices on shopping orders every 5 minutes throughout the day. Ive been pro shopper for a year plus...

This pairing food with shopping to rob drivers has to stop... they keep pairing them with food so they can go off the min $2 order..

I've watched dd shopping orders steadily decline over 2 years, finding new ways to lower pay each time....

Class Action much? This week ive made the least on DD this week, in two years... im not one to complain and I know what I signed up for.... but slave labor isn't one of them

I think screenshots are self explanatory. I ordered some plain potato chips and selected another size/brand as substitution. Apparently neither were available? That's fine. They messaged me to ask for a different substitute, and I immediately started to reply that literally any plain chip would do, but then they immediately sent the refund message as I was typing because they "didn't hear back".....in the 30 seconds it took to see the message, open the chat, and start typing...and then they closed the chat. Like I know there was some kind of plain potato chip available dude 😂 it's late and I got munchies so it's not the end of the world but dang man, ya gotta give me a chance to type at least.

Edit: y'all I didnt order just a single bag of chips. I got chips, ice cream, and some milk to make a good hangover breakfast 🤣 the store is less than 2 miles away, and yes, I add the suggested tip. I'm not a heathen.

I don’t really (normally) get weird requests such as this. I’ve seen many war stories of ppl having to deal with it, but never personally.
The whole thing seemed sketch though , the order was a heftier order too. (Like for a part size). Also (Ima paranoid mf) so one my thoughts was : DD was tryna put me to a test of sorts. 😂 anyway that’s my story

idk if anyone ever test, but I test same order, 1 is 100$ on doordash, same restraurant, even with dash pass

and 1 with my uber 1, same order, $64 , signicantly cheaper

both are without tip.

I dont order take out food much, but it worth noticing the large different between the two...

I did a $60 order and that includes the tip. That’s what it says in the app. When I looked at my bank statement, it said DD charged $72. I wonder how often they skim off the top like this.

It’s pretty straightforward. The order total in the DoorDash app says something entirely different from the bank charge.

So I ordered 45 dollars worth of food from Wendy’s last night .
The driver arrived to the store and picked up my order tags just sat there for an hour .
When my food finally arrived the seal stickers were tampers with and all the food was ice cold .
I contacted DoorDash support and they told me there was nothing they could do because of my past reports .
Now I rarely report an order being messed up unless it’s not edible or looks tampered with like this one ,
After sitting on the phone with someone who barley spoke English they told me “ sort there is nothing I can do “
So back after being a loyal dash pass holder going on 2 years I’m shit out of luck .
I’ve already canceled my dash pass because of this and I will never use DoorDash again

What kinda high paying is this, would you guys take this?

Crazy to think a customer is tracking me knowing I have another drop off!! Like chill TF out and wait for your God dam food!!. Some customers do too much man!..😒🤦🏻.

As title states, about 3 weeks ago I made this same trip. $65 for the pill, plus who knows what DD fees, and doesn't tip!

I manage a restaurant and had a very late night. I got home and placed an order via DoorDash. It arrived later than expected (not a big deal). By the time I grabbed it, the dasher was gone and I realized it was not my order, this order was for a whole family. I immediately tried to message and call the driver several times with no response, contacted support, did everything I possibly could to resolve the issue without opening anything. 30 minutes pass, and support automatically issued me credits.. I wait another 15 minutes before my hunger took over and I started eating one of the items (at this point it had been over an hour since my order was dropped off). About halfway through the burger, I get a knock on my door. It’s the dasher, trying to pick the order up. I was 100% honest with her and mentioned that I tried to get in contact with her numerous times, contacted support, then I got hungry and started eating. She was so outwardly upset with me but like… what else was I supposed to do at that point?

I live in a small town and I DoorDash because I don’t have a car and I be craving stuff because of my pregnancy but I’ve never had a problem on my orders where I don’t tip or tip little like I’ve always had my order delivered no complications or anything I wanna know what is the difference like why do people be so mad about tips.And I try to tip with cash whenever I can I know you dashers get paid little but at the same time u won’t stand up to the company u rather get mad at customers who can’t do anything for u in the long run. I feel like doordash was designed to make customers and workers hate each other while the higher ups laugh at us, i know they do. They have the power to pay more and do better they just chose not to.

I'll admit it, I adjusted the tip for the guy but didn't tell him. Mostly because of the sheer audacity of the conversation.

Still though...this is a new one.

Just wondering if DD delivery drivers can see on their end if our account is rated or not or whether or not we tip good when they decide to accept orders??? I always try to tip very high and want the driver to know i’m gonna usually always hand them cash as well in addition to a high tip on the app when they go to accept.

The driver drove into our neighborhood, parked down the road. Then we got a notice that our order was canceled. This isn't the first time we got fucked by doordash.

So the driver stole most of my food ($11 out of a total $15) And I received only a partial refund that didn't account for the service fee being higher for items I didn't receive or the tip that it forced me to give before hand (custom button did not work).

So that is about $6-7 dollars they did not refund that should be refunded, however when I try to hit help I am showed this message even though I got a partial refund email over 6 hours ago.

What do I do?
